Landon and Elle's story was beautiful. I love stories based on grief because the books stand out in a different way. Landon's back story was heartbreaking and heartwarming intertwined. Landon's love for his wife is admirable and I loved how he did his best at keeping her in his daughter's life.
Elle's story is plain heartbreaking but I loved watching her grow into herself and seeing her confidence grow. As the story goes on, her story just gets more heartbreaking as she finds out the secrets those in her life have been keeping from her.
While Elle and Landon both have heartbreaking back stories, their love story was fun, light, and happy. I loved their banter, their hate-filled arguments and everything about them. I loved every minute of this book!
