Nellie Wilson hit this one out of the park!! Seriously it’s so darn good. The representation of a smart, capable woman who suffers from anxiety but isn’t stereotypical in the least is just *chefs kiss.*
I love all the details that truly bring these characters to life in my mind: his swimming physique, she sits at her desk with legs curled up & no shoes, he stops to clean his glasses mid conversation… all these tiny touches that make them REAL.
And let’s be honest, NW can write the heck out of a love scene. If you’ve ever needed to see yourself in a love scene bc you’ve never seen someone struggle with sexual issues, this book is for you. The care, love and respect that is given to these characters so they can have even more incredible connections is standing ovation worthy.
So good. You’ll love it.
