Loving Deviant by Laurann Dohner
4.0

So this stuck to the Cyborg pattern with just a few typos. I liked both the characters and the sexy time was very good. The reason this isn't a 5 star erotic rating... it was a bit slow at the end. There were several different people opposing the couple getting together, like the captain of the ship, one of the counselors, and his mother, but it all seemed too easy. I guess it is a society that is now excepting humans as mates but... it needed a little more in the story, like more to do with her limbs and skin, or more conflict between them because of situations on the home world. Or maybe someone challenging him because of his lower status as mate, like the other men on the ship. Or maybe her being classified as cyborg so they try to force the family pact onto her. Well, mainly it was a little opposition and mainly them getting together, a little too smoothly. Still the erotic was very good and the story nice. I'm glad Ms Dohner stuck to the normal outline and length. I'll be anticipating the next.

Pre-release========
Oh great a new Laurann Dohner in the Cyborg series. Not too impressed with her VLG series, so back to New Species or if not them, the Cyborgs, and I'll be a happy camper. I just hope the editing is better than VLG which I think was self published. This seems self published also which means editing is totally on her and not the publisher. I really hope she has found a good editor. Still they have a standard plot line, so if it follows it, it won't meander and become the long drone the Drantos became. Since it says 166 pages, I'm thinking not and am crossing my fingers.
