As a gamer myself, I enjoyed this book and the journey the characters need to go through in order to find the Easter Egg. One thing that I do want to point out that this plot reminded me very much of Willy Wonka. The story does start off really show, however I loved the world building that taken place. Readers do deal with some flawed characters which does make it fun to read, because it gives it more of a dump of drama. Wade is not really a likable character IMO, but overall I love how readers are able to become emerged into the world. This book does use a lot of outside media as a spine for the story, not really unique from a writer's POV, but.....yeeaaaaaa. Im going to try to pick this up again in the future, but for now its going back onto my book shelf.
