Once again, I am completely confused as to why it took me so long to finish this novel. When I was a little girl, I had a Nintendo DS that featured a classics library and every time I went to read Alice in Wonderland I found myself nursing a headache and completely overwhelmed. I finally decided to tackle the novel for a reading competition and was pleased to find there were no headaches, confusion, or overwhelming sensations. It's an honestly pleasant read and I can completely understand now why so many people absolutely adore this novel. That being said, I am still more partial to the spin-offs this novel created such as McGee's horror alice in wonderland games.
