The Girl in the Clockwork Collar
by Kady Cross
this series is shaping up beautifully. while I saw the twists coming so was not surprised as such i did enjoy watching the story come together. while it was interesting to learn more about jasper and to have the new setting of America I am glad that the next book sees them back in England... if for no other reason than i missed Dandy. the relationship between Griffin and Finley is almost painful to watch... in a good way, the number of times i wanted to slap them, tell them to get over themselves and just be happy was astounding. so much of their drama could be sorted out if they just talked to each other. Mei was an interesting character and i am glad to see that the author managed to impart some intrigue both into the characters and the plot. i loved seeing Sam and Emily together ... they are just too cute and they are needed to balance out the craziness that is Griffin and Finley.
