read this for a buddy read. this is a cozy fantasy but i appreciated that there were some stakes and felt a bit of pressure, as opposed to other cozy fantasies where nothing really happens besides baking bread. i like that this book had plot lines where there were problems the MCs had to deal with and that they were each kind of different between a mad queen, dragons, but also we ran out of tea lol. 

i did get bored sometimes but i think i will still read the other books in this series bc the MCs are fun and the world is interesting.
