First of all, I bought this book just because the cover art is incredible. Well done, angry robot. I would give the book 5 stars just for the cover.
Second of all, the book itself was awesome. Equal parts fantasy, alternate history, and steampunk, it has a little something for everyone.
Third of all, and most importantly in my opinion, the author's command of language was superb. His word choices were original and fun without feeling like he was trying too hard.
