Overall a good collection of finely tuned and crafted short-stories by great names, read by great voices.
Oates and Gordimer are the most memorable to me - a lurking feeling that you often get with Oates’ writing is present here as well, in a small but significant way. The mix of fairytale and dystopia in Gordimers South Africa is deeply disturbing, and therefore so interesting.
