Did not finish book. Stopped at 34%.

This book had two types of characters. Poor, ambitious, and covetous or rich, vapid, and uncaring, neither character type was strong enough or compelling enough to follow through this extremely slow burn mystery. At this point, I’m halfway through I still don’t know who the victim is and none of the characters are really interested in finding out, the characters are thin and the thriller element lacks urgency
