The Expanse for me is first and foremost about found family. Nemesis Games gives me what I have wanted for a while: POVs for all four members of the crew. While the novel sets out promising backstory and little side adventure of everyone the scope and scale of the stakes this books explodes into is shocking. 

The crew being a mix of two Earthers , a Martian, and a Belter never got huge emphasis in the saga so far but these characters give the reader a personal lens to experience galactic conflict through each of these perspectives.  

I say this every review but this is the best book in the series and I cannot wait for the read the next installment.  I flew through 18 hours of audiobook in two and half days and I wish it was 3 times as long.
