This was the weakest of the series. We are introduced to Kira with an embroidery, weaving ability that has to gather the color blue for a singers robe. This book is okay and is required reading to understand the later books, but man was I let down after reading the Giver. Jonas is now Leader and that is all that is said about him. Kira's decision to not heal her leg made me lose more interest in the character.
