It's the first book of a new series. But I was a bit disappointed that it's not the beginning of the story. The three were already together and only a little bit is told about their past.
Besides that: Someone wrote in the comments here: "It's pure brain candy. While too much candy is bad for you, it's nice to have a bite every now and then." That's completey how I feel about this series. I will call it my guilty pleasure. It's sweet, it's enjoyable, it's a fun read. Although it's unrealistic. But I will continue reading this series as my daily / weekly / monthly dose of candy.
