Tuck Everlasting
by Natalie Babbitt
5 stars for what it is.
It' skins of like a grilled cheese sandwich: not fine cuisine, but it sure can be tastey. It's not meant to be Les Miserables. It's a nice children'a book to help kids think about using life well. Winnie is a great character that I think most kids can relate to in one way or another. She realizes that adventure isn't all it's cracked up to be and decides to live the life she has been given instead of wishing it were something more. Really, we can all do with that reminder once in a while.
