The Wonder Boy of Whistle Stop
by Fannie Flagg
Fannie didn't come to play.
I'm so lucky that I discovered her books in my late 20s. If I was someone that had to wait for this book for 30+ years like those that read as she wrote, I don't know what I would have done with my life. Even the past 5 years of fandom have been HARD! I can't even call this a sequel because it feels like a completion.
Fannie's books always make me think of, "Make new friends, but keep the old." This was like a family reunion, but with people I like.
FIVE STARS because this warmed my soul.
