Six Stories
by Matt Wesolowski
I think this would have been better listened to as an audiobook, since the premise is a season of a crime podcast, Six Stories.
It was an interesting story, but not especially scary. I partially figured out one of the plot points at the mid-point and the second major one (revealed at the end) felt silly.
There was no real resolution so I felt let-down by that. Then I saw that this is the first in a series, and I was annoyed. I have no problem with series, but it would be nice to have a whole story within a novel and not just a stepping stone to the next book.
I’m not going out of my way to read the next one.
