The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating by Elisabeth Tova Bailey

emotional hopeful informative reflective slow-paced

4.5

A wonderful book that made me fall in love with snails and helped me grapple with chronic illness. The writing was eloquent, unpretentious, and meaningful. I've never highlighted a book so much. The information on snails was fascinating, though I did skim some in the middle of the book. Ultimately, this book made me feel less alone and I'm grateful for the author's story. A great read to recommend to someone who wants to understand disability better and even more perfect for a snail lover : )
