I hated half of this book hence the 2.5 star rating. It felt drawn out (which is why it took me so long to read) and there were points that I was lost in the book because of the random time jumping mid chapter. I definitely wasn’t rooting for BJ and Magnolia because I couldn’t get over how toxic their relationship was and I wanted to throat punch them for wanting to continue trying while simultaneously dragging other people into it. What I did enjoy: the writing and how somehow you were interested in what would happen with BJ and Magnolia. Their story was heartbreaking in the best way because you could almost feel their pain at times.
