its a sad story about a boy on a road trip with his alcoholic father, to look for his mom/wife that left them 8 years ago. the story within the story (about the past and the cards) is what i remember from when i was a kid and it was interesting but not as fantastical as i remembered.

i've gotten too spoiled w good literature, great minds in authors.
this i wont recommend to anyone, sadly.
