A clever and elegant sci-fi mystery in the tradition at Sherlock Holmes. There’s a lot of world building and some things, like the rail lines and the cozy scholar’s quarter’s really work.
I’d like to have seen a little more depth to the characters, but for a Holmesian mystery set on what appears to be an orbital ring around Jupiter, it’s exactly in line with what it sets out to be.
