When I started to read this book, I expected something else entirely. It was not bad, but I expected a serial killer known as the chalk man, but it was not that. It took most of the book until the kids found the body of the girl and I was like ‘when will they find the body’ for half of the book.
When the author described Eddy as a collector, you basically knew he took the head of the girl with him, so no real surprise there honestly.

It was a well written book and surprising at some points and I enjoyed reading it even if it wasn’t what I expected.
