This is a perfect continuation of Not Even Bones. It’s the same questioning of morality where you find yourself rooting for murderers. Also rooting for a teenage girl who until recently never left her dissection room to try and take down an entire black market even though all of her motives are entirely self centered. It’s very interesting to see character growth and to watch everyone question their own ethics after being faced with why they do what they do. I’m so happy Kovit is being his own “person” and trying to make his own decisions - I hope he can live a somewhat normal life in the next book even though we find out something at the end that’s going to make that difficult.
