I had a great time with this book. I started it a while back but had to pause it because life lol. But I started it again a few days and I was hooked.
As a huge fan of the Arcane show, this book gave so much depth to Ambessa and Mel as characters. I loved how you can tell from the beginning who Ambessa is as a person but when you get her inner monologue you start to understand the intentions behind her actions. The way Medarda clan was described in this book was so cool and it made me crave more to know about them. Getting to know Rictus, Rell, Kino and other characters was amazing too. There are some cool reveals in this book which- with the context of watching Arcane- made me so giddy with excitement.
I cannot wait for the Noxus show now😩
