Egalia's Daughters: A Satire of the Sexes by Gerd Brantenberg

3.0

As a short story it would have been sublime. As a longer format however it feels tedious at times and it loses the initial impact and wit the longer it goes. If it would have been any other normal story my rating would have been much lower but the way the author (and translator) plays with the language and with the gender bender are original and fun, as well as a great way to show how our own society works.
