rogerjpatterson 's review for:
David Copperfield
by Charles Dickens
The scope of the book, the breadth and variety of the characters, the finely crafted character development of Copperfield himself, and the depth of the insight into his character amply repaid the time spent getting through the nearly 900 pages of this work. The ultimate resolution (and some of the resolutions along the way) had a bit of a fairy tale quality, but what do you expect, it is Dickens after all.
