The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien
5.0

"The Return of the King" nails the ending of the Lord of the Rings. The climax is epic, with Minas Tirith and the Ring's destruction, but what makes it special is how Tolkien handles everything after. Instead of just stopping, he gives us a proper wind-down, showing the fallout of the war and giving everyone a sense of closure. From the Scouring of the Shire to the Grey Havens, it's a powerful goodbye, and honestly, it's kinda ruined other book endings for me.
