Calling a Wolf a Wolf by Kaveh Akbar

Kaveh's language is so very beautiful. My favorite Kaveh is when he's at his most concrete - at times, I feel like some of these poems are nebulous to the point of opaqueness, but when he's at his best, he creates the most beautifully vivid scenes. I am always drawn to his use of jewels and gemstones, and his writing is so sensory as well.
