Made for You by Natasha Madison

5.0

Made For You is the second book in the Made For series, which is a spin-off of Only One, one of my favorite series. The close-knit Grant/Horton/Stone family get-togethers are full of witty banter, family drama, and high spirits. This is Vivienne Grant, the last single child of Matthew Grant, and Xavier Montgomery’s story.
Successful hockey player Xavier Montgomery left the game of hockey abruptly two years prior and with no explanation. He thought he had left the hockey life behind him only to discover his new bothersome neighbor is related to the famous Grant/Horton/Stone hockey family. He tried to stay away from her but how can he resist the charming and cheerful Vivienne?
“You came into my life when I was least expecting it. Killing me with kindness.”

Vivienne Grant loves the peacefulness of water, so she bought a boat and plans on living on it over the summer. Once she moves in, she meets her grumpy neighbor and his cute dog Beatrice. She isn’t sure what to make of him, but she will kill him with kindness and not allow him to affect her.
Vivienne and Xavier’s story was beautiful, emotional, and heartbreaking. I loved watching their relationship grow once Vivienne got through Xavier’s grumpy façade. They were able to connect and help each other and were perfect for one another. This was such an incredible book, and I cannot wait for Tristan and Abigail’s book, which is the next in the series.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
