Shred Sisters
by Betsy Lerner
A heartfelt book about the highs and lows of sisterhood love, struggles and laughter. This book pulled me in right away. Amy and Ollie’s relationship felt so real and layered. I found myself relating to Amy’s quiet strength and the way she carries so much without always being seen. The story doesn’t sugarcoat anything, especially when it comes to mental illness and the chaos it can bring to a family, and that’s what made it so powerful to read.
What really stayed with me was the struggle and pain of loving someone you can’t always help, and how deep a bond between sisters can go, even when it’s hard and painful. This book made me think reflect on my own relationships.
