I think this is my favorite book out the Daughter of the Pirate King books. I liked the undead element. I wasn't expecting that. I liked learning more about Soridna. I only wished that we had seen the relation ship between her and Kearan grow a bit more. I know there were time gaps while they were at sea but the time between her finding out he had feelings, her acknowledging that she had feelings too, and her acting on them seemed kind of rushed. But overall a good, quick read.
