For some reason I thought this was about vampires. And despite my bafflement while reading, waiting for the “blood” part of this book to occur, I am not on the least disappointed. This was so incredibly well written, well paced, and unputdownable (and again, not just because I was anxiously anticipating vampires…). I loved the character development and relationship building of this sweet YA novel.
