I liked the writing style, the characters, and the relationships between the characters. However, the main plot is really about the romance between the two main characters, with the events that pushed them together being more of a subplot. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just that the romance is somewhat of a slowburn, so there wasn't a whole lot of that happening, and there also wasn't much plot development since it's in more in the background, so I found it just didn't hold my attention.
