The idea of a witch and a demon has had me in a chokehold since Charmed! It was a really cool idea and I loved the development in the story and how there were twist and turns that you don’t see until it happened. 

My only complaint is that it ends abruptly. It would have been nice to see how the duo were after the had everything settled (especially having Calladia introducing Astaroth to her mother to see her reaction to having a demon hybrid in the family)

I recommend this book! It was a  fast and fun read, I would be eager to see how Hawley plans to build out this world.
