Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling

5.0

Such a comfort, reading the “ The Boy Who Lived”. I might know the whole thing but the first few chapters hit different. Read in 2022 again but this time in a different country and in peak winter.

I have no idea how to write this review and i am writing this after reading this for 3 time. I mean i finished this for fourth time. I started this book as soon as i fished the Deathly Hallows for the third time. I was wondering before starting this if i would ever be bored with this book. I have to tell you, i was scared of the thought of getting bored by Harry Potter series. That would be like Harry potter getting scared of getting chucked out of Hogwarts. Harry Potter is my other world, I loose my self into. This is my escape from reality. Am talking about the whole series not one book in particular. I love the fist thing which pops out when we open the book and continue popping through out the series. The first words that changed the history of book world. "THE BOY WHO LIVED". If you are not a fan you would not understand and please don't bother to comment. Because this is too precious for me to waste my time arguing over with a hater.

Wow.. while reading this i was thinking how much he is going to go through. I was thinking about Dumbledore and Snape, Sirius, Dobby and OK OK i know its just a book and a fragment of her imagination but still it does not stop me from loving it. I love every bit, every chapter and every book in this series. I love the sense of humor of Ron and at times get pissed off with Hermione with her righteous nature. I love how Harry listens to Ron and avoids Hermione's advice. And How they are sick and tired of their homework.

Her(J.K. Rowling) depth of details like for example how all flavored candies have vomit flavor and boogie(what ever that is) flavor too. How Harry has suffered not in very bad way but a subtle kind suffering with his muggule family. I don't know why some people don't like this book. Usually when someone don't like a book and argue i listen to them and avoid arguing because everyone has their likes and dislikes BUT if someone does not like Harry Potter and try to demean it I get angry. If you don't like it FINE. Don't talk non sense about the book with the people who LOVE it. I love when i meet a Harry Potter fan. The bond is instant and exciting. This has nothing to do with kids. I get so pissed when some one says that this book is kids book. I am no kid and keep reading this. So get a HINT.
