The Neighbor's Secret by L. Alison Heller

3.5 rounded up

A slower paced domestic psychological novel revolving around a neighborhood book club and the minutiae of their lives. This one wasn't quite what I was expecting. If you're looking for a fast-paced thriller this one isn't that. Lots of similarities to Joshilyn Jackson's Never have I ever. I really enjoyed the in-depth look at a suburban mom's book club and their dynamics as well as the story line with parents of a child on the autism spectrum and their concerns that he may be borderline pathological. Recommended for fans of darker domestic fiction that's highly relatable and great on audio.
