a promising premise but unfortunately that’s pretty much it!!
the actual writing and content of this book was so confusing. not in a “i’m not following this” way but in a “i don’t understand any of the decisions the author is making” way.
i did care about covey and her backstory but tbh that’s it! way too many topics crammed in where they didn’t belong, way too many character POVs, way too many name changes (omg the book’s about identity! i get it!!) - just too much while also being not enough of what i actually wanted and cared about. sorry!
