I’ve heard people say if you don’t like Ali Hazelwood’s other books, give this one a chance. I wouldn’t say that’s true. This is still very much Ali Hazelwood. Same FMC and MMC (except this time he has a buzz cut). Pretty much the same side characters. However, I love her books so this was right up my alley. Misery’s relationship with Serena very much gave me Fleabag and Boo vibes. Lowe and Misery were good together. The plot was fun and well-paced.
