Harrow County, Volume 1: Countless Haints by Cullen Bunn

5.0

Unnerving. Odd. Weird. Properly Weird. Gothic to a T. I began to appreciate Bunn and his work with The Sixth Gun. His handling of plot and character won me over. Teaming with Tyler Crook though...stroke of genius. Crook's story telling elevates the moody work that Bunn lays out. The watercoloring add a level of grime to the stories in this volume that give it more weight. I do enjoy horror in comic form. I missed it for too long. I am glad that Bunn and Crook are making it scream once more.
