This is book 6 in a fun, light hearted space opera. The further I get into this series the more I enjoy it- I think because I have really gotten to know and care about the characters so it is like visiting with old friends. Only none of my friends ever get into quite so much trouble. There is the usual action, humor, and creative plans from the Captain, Alisa as she tries to balance searching for her kidnapped daughter, starting a relationship with a cybernetically enhanced former enemy soldier and saving the universe. Glad we get to meet Alisa’s father in this one . Hopefully next time around we will finally get to meet Jelena.
