This is the first time I've read, or listened, to this book and I'm glad I did. While I've heard more skillful narrators, reading this during this time of political change in the US was a good one. It reminds that this country has had very dark times in the past at the Federal level, and we got through it in those days due to individuals who stepped up and acted on their conscience when it became important to do so.
