The part that was most interesting for me was that Shun was about to get married and then left the last second and that was why he was living far away from home. Mio on the other hand, was away for so long and then came back to the island suddenly and then he wanted to have Shun's affection asap as if he never left.
It was nice, but I don't think it's something i'd recommend. I think it feels a bit forced.
