Umm no. I selected this book to fulfill one of my pop sugar challenges for 2023 and it was just so hard to get past the poor dialog and terrible writing. I’m sure the story would have been good had it been written differently. The tense of the story did not fit, who gives away a family heirloom without explanation. Good versus evil is an age old story and this could have been good if written better
