I want to preface this by saying that this book is certainly not for everybody. There are uncomfortable themes and mention of content that will certainly make anybody squirm in their seat. That being said, if you can handle exposure to uncomfortable topics, this book is fantastic. It's really well-paced, I enjoyed how gritty and raw it was, and the found family and monster elements were awesome. This is definitely in my list of favorite books and it is exactly the type of story I've been itching to read.
