Another amazing book. War and Miriam were the true enemies to lovers.
I love that the author makes these women strong in their own right. Because Miriam truly didn’t relinquish or give in until War did.
The hot and cold was a little annoying by the end 4/5ths of the book. But it really made it that much sweeter when they finally came together with their souls and hearts on their sleeves.
I loved the pregnancy trope in this one, War as an expectant dad was the sweetest thing
2/5 on the spicy scale. This book was a little more dirty than the first. But you only get that in the middle of the book. The end was more focused on their emotional connection.
