When Hitler Took Cocaine and Lenin Lost His Brain: History's Unknown Chapters by Giles Milton

adventurous dark informative lighthearted medium-paced

3.5

A fun little romp of stories that span both the amusing and arbitrary as well as the appalling and adventurous to straight up astounding little lost chapters of world history. I enjoyed that it had a global focus. Even when it was retelling darker tales it maintained a good grasp of storytelling. This gave a uniformed tone that didn't take away from the bright and interesting tidbits.
