I think the Spellshop is my favorite of the two published in this series, but I still found this to be enjoyable. Terlu and Yarrow were very relatable characters having to deal with an almost impossible job. The side characters were some of my favorite characters in the book, even if they only had a few lines. If I had a critique I do think one reviewer was right in that the story focused a bit too much on some of the cozy stuff. Towards the end I wanted to get through the plot instead of hearing about how good the bread was. Overall though, this book came to me at a time when I needed it, and I liked the message in the story.
Graphic: Death, Mental illness, Grief, Gaslighting
