Three Women by Lisa Taddeo

4.0

This book follows the true stories of three women, all experiencing desire. Taddeo followed many of these women for years, and I enjoyed the depth of the reporting, particularly the stories of Maggie and Lina, though I connected less to Sloane’s.

I wish more diverse perspectives had been considered and I didn’t love how the stories put women in the backseat as men manipulated their way around them. I would have liked to see some stories of women who felt confident and less secretive about their desires.
