I have heard SOOO much about this series... that I just HAD to give it a try. Now in all honesty, I haven't read any of the other series by Rick Riodran (other than Percy Jackson). So I didn't really understand the hype when old characters are brought back into this series.. however the return of Percy is AWESOME!
This book is about the god Apollo, who is being punished by Zeus for his actions at the end of the lightning thief series. Once he comes to terms with his new found "humanhood", he realizes what he has to do to get home... become a slave to a Demi god. Luckily, he meets a sloppy and sassy Demi god named Meg. The only thing they lack… is a safe place to stay. The closest option... camp Half Blood. However, camp half blood is dealing with their own issues.. campers have disappeared into the woods and no one knows where they could possibly be. Will Apollo be the hero? Or will his self interest get in the way?
This is an okay book honestly... I enjoyed seeing what the crew at camp half blood is up too... however, the plot itself kinda sucked. Yes, The Villian is extremely cool! I just didnt get any enjoyment out of how this book ended. However, I am willing to try out this series as a whole. I guess ill just wait and see!
