Really fun and freaky little love story, despite the entire plot being predictable from the jump. That being said, it reads like butter and the words are absolute poetry, plus it’s full of sapphic spice. My only complaint is that it felt afraid to really /go there/, as though the writer blushed in embarrassment every time things got a little steamy (not that smut is the preferred alternative, but something more than the vibe of “she gets on her knees and…well, you know what happened next”.) It’s a cozy little horror story and a quick read, which is always lovely.
