Blue Bloods 3-Book Boxed Set by Melissa de la Cruz

3.0

More of a 3.5 actually.

Most of the time I absolutely hate vampire books, but this book has quite a lot of potential. I really like that the book didn't follow the traditional vampire myth, the stereotype most paranormal books follow. Instead it was quite original, this book's vampires weren't hell bound monsters. They were fallen angles banished from heaven to our mundane earth thousands of years ago. They have great influence over the " Red Bloods" and took part in establishing banks, museums, and a lot of other stuff.

My biggest problem was with the characters, I just couldn't.... Connect with them. I felt like they didn't have much depth to them even thought they totally have the potential to be complex and a lot more relatable.

Overall this was pretty good read and I'm probably going to go on with the rest of the series. If have nothing else to read that is...
